Berg Lake Trail Backpack,
Mount Robson Provincial Park
Look up! Look way up! At 3, 954 meters, Mount Robson is
the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies - tall enough
to create its own weather system. We will guide you on
a multi-day backpack on the internationally renowned Berg
Lake Trail. Climb to the Valley of a Thousand Falls and
experience the grandeur of the massive Berg Glacier as
it calves into Berg Lake below. As we summit Snowbird
Pass, prepare to be overwhelmed by outstanding views of
the backside of Mount Robson and a chance glimpse of Mountain
caribou. We will traverse the habitat of Black and Grizzly
bears, Whitetail and Mule deer, moose, marmot and Grey
wolves. Experience profuse carpets of wildflowers in July
and August, and outstanding falls colors in the meadows
in September.
